Bachelor of Science in Social Work Option
This program is designed as a 4-6 year program and can be completed on a fulltime or part-time basis. This gives a student the opportunity to balance work and family while completing the degree. As a pre-major student, you can begin in any semester and will complete a wide range of courses that are offered across the university (General Education Curriculum) prior to application to the College for the BSSW program. We enroll competitive students from diverse backgrounds and diverse practice interests. As a major student, you will complete our social work major courses that enable the development of a common base of skills. This includes a field placement when a student is placed in a social service agency to learn from social workers in a chosen area of interest. All courses can be completed on the Ohio State Mansfield campus or online.
