Admissions Criteria

New Student

If you are an Ohio resident who graduated from a chartered high school (or who has a GED) and never attended any other college, you can be admitted to a regional campus.

Transfer Student

If you are an Ohio resident, you may apply for admission to the Mansfield campus. If you have earned at least a 2.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) on your college course work, we will review your academic performance in college to determine your eligibility for admission.

Campus-change program

Students can change to the Columbus campus with a minimum of 30 earned hours (earned after high school graduation) and at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA. This excludes credits earned from testing, e.g. advanced placement testing or Ohio State foreign language testing. Academic units on the Columbus campus may have additional requirements. Students who are not yet ready to decide on a major, or are not yet eligible for a selective admission major would make a campus change into the Exploration Program.
