The Ohio State University at Mansfield’s alumni awards program honors outstanding alumni who have contributed significantly to their professions and/or communities. Individuals may be nominated for one of two awards.
The criteria for election to the Alumni Hall of Fame are as follows:
- The nominee must have successfully completed a minimum of 15 credit hours at Ohio State Mansfield
- The nominee must have graduated from The Ohio State University 15 or more years ago to be eligible for nomination.
- The nominee must be an advocate for the University and regarded as a community leader with a record of sustained professional recognition and/or involvement in community activity.
The criteria for election of the Early Achievement Award are as follows:
- The nominee must have successfully completed a minimum of 15 credit hours at Ohio State Mansfield
- The nominee must have graduated from The Ohio State University no more than 15 years ago to be eligible for nomination
- The nominee must be an advocate for the University and have demonstrated distinctive achievement in a career, civic involvement or both.
Nominations for the Ohio State Mansfield alumni awards program will be accepted at any time, but must be submitted by this year’s deadline using the form below. The selection committee will then select a pool of final candidates and nominators will be asked to submit a resume and two letters of reference for their candidates. The awards will be presented at a special Alumni Awards Reception on the Ohio State Mansfield campus. The nominators and endorsers will be invited to attend the reception as well. The names of persons nominated but not selected will be kept on file for a minimum of three years. Nominators may update the file annually if they desire.
Recipients will be honored as part of the Alumni Hall of Fame within the Scarlet and Gray Café in Ovalwood Hall, Mansfield Campus.
