Amy Hiner is an Associate Faculty member at The Ohio State University Mansfield, where she serves as an Instructor in the Education Department. With a deep passion for shaping the next generation of educators, Amy specializes in teaching the foundations of reading and literacy and other reading courses. She emphasizes the critical role of literacy as a social justice issue, advocating for equitable access to education for all students. Amy’s commitment to her field is evident in her dedication to preparing future teachers to be mindful, inclusive, and effective in their approach. She holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Muskingum University.
