Amber Rader is an assistant professor of practice and the program coordinator for the Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology program at the Ohio State University – Mansfield. She received her BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering as well as her MS in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University in 1998 and 1999, respectively. She worked for almost 20 years in various capacities for companies such as Battelle, GE Medical Systems, Delphi Chassis (GM), and OhioHealth. At Ohio State, her main interests are related to Industry 4.0 technology and their application in the manufacturing environment, including PLCs, robotics, and automation.
