Outdoor Adventure Club
The Outdoor Adventure Club is a group of students interested in outdoor recreation and exploration activities. The club aims to foster an appreciation for the natural environment by providing opportunities for participants to experience outdoor activities that promote personal growth, leadership development, relationship building and environmental responsibility. These adventures can vary from simple day outings to long expeditions. We organize hiking and biking trips to explore and enjoy the many local, regional, and national parks and trails, as well as canoe/kayak floats to many of our scenic lakes and rivers. During these trips, participants learn basic skills for safe and environmentally responsible exploration of the natural environment. Through these connections between participants and the natural environment, the Outdoor Adventure Club helps educate and inspire participants to be responsible stewards and defenders of the natural world. OutLoud
OutLoud provides an anonymous, healthy, and safe place for the students of Ohio State Mansfield and NC State who are discovering the sexual orientation to develop an understanding network of support; to educate the Mansfield community on GLBTQ issues, culture and history through various programs and efforts; and to provide a place for GLBTQ students and others to meet, gain information, and socialize through specialized programs and resources.
