Microphone Mondays (weekly open mic)

Microphone Mondays is a weekly “open mic” event held at Eisenhower Marketplace each week from 12:30 to 1:30 (common hour). It is intended to promote belongingness and diversity by giving everyone on campus an equal voice and a chance to share/perform in front of an audience. The lineup includes acts such as music, poetry, cultural heritage, event promotions, and wellness talks. Fun required. Talent optional!
The idea of our open mic is to give amateur presenters/poets/musicians a chance to practice performing in front of a real audience and sharpen their skills. Please encourage your students and colleagues to come out and clap for our performers so they can have a positive experience. It is OK make mistakes, laugh, and learn from them.
