Judy Cortelletti

Judy received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Bowling Green State University in 1987 and was a classroom teacher before returning to school to pursue her Master’s degree at Ashland University in 1992. She taught Special Education, Third Grade, First Grade, and Second Grade for 32 years in Galion City Schools before retiring in 2019 . In Galion, she obtained her National Board Certification in Elementary Education was a mentor for beginning teachers and program coordinator for Ohio’s RESA program for numerous years. In addition, she also served as a cooperating teacher for Methods Students and Student Teachers from Mansfield’s Ohio State University. Knowing the quality of students at Ohio State led to her interest in helping them become future educators.
