Abstract: Mapping is an important step in monitoring the impact of human activities on the environment. However, high-precision maps require numerous observations and are costly and time-consuming. To overcome these barriers, scientists have been integrating spectroscopy and machine learning to predict attributes and deliver accurate maps. In this talk, attendees will gain insights into how these tools can be combined to monitor environmental health and support informed land-management decisions.
