Faculty at The Ohio State University at Mansfield are encouraged to involve students in their research programs. In order to facilitate such involvement, funds are available to pay students to assist faculty with their research programs. Students who are already receiving academic credit for research assistance should not also receive payment. This fund should only be used when students are not going to receive academic credit for their participation. Faculty members may receive up to $1,000 per year to pay a research assistant.
To be eligible for this funding, the research assistant must be a student in good standing at Ohio State Mansfield.
This application will be submitted to Associate Dean’s office, who will forward the application to the Professional Development Committee. The Professional Development Committee will advise the Assistant Dean regarding the approval of this grant proposal.
