The Ohio State University at Mansfield

Registration begins: May 1
Autumn 2017 Orientation Dates

Starting May 1, if you have paid the $100 acceptance fee, you will receive an email (Ohio State email account) inviting you back to this site to complete placement testing and register for orientation. This site outlines the steps you need to take and addresses the questions you may have as you prepare for and attend orientation this summer.

The Ohio State University at Mansfield’s Orientation will be your first real taste of life as a Buckeye. Orientation will help you begin to feel at home on the Mansfield Campus and help you become familiar with the wide range of academic opportunities available at Ohio State Mansfield.

Orientation is your opportunity to learn (almost) everything you need to know in order to have a successful start at Ohio State in the fall. Jot down your questions and bring your list with you to orientation to be sure ALL your questions are asked and answered.

We recognize the important role family members play in the success of our students. We encourage parents or other adult family members to attend orientation with their new student. During orientation there is a featured session facilitated by Student Life. This session is designed to engage parents and guests of incoming students on the academic and social opportunities provided at the Mansfield campus. Topics range from academic success to updates on campus services.

Your autumn semester Statement of Account will show a one-time $50 University Orientation fee, which covers administrative costs. This fee does not need to be paid at orientation but will be paid along with tuition by the payment deadline.
