Homecoming season brings excitement across Buckeye Nation, and this year, The Ohio State University at Mansfield celebrated with remarkable community spirit and campus pride. Representing the regional campus with distinction, Alyssa Harmon, Clara Johnson, Sarah Turner, Kendal Webb, Jazmine Spayde, and Yahira Vazquez—took a leading role in a memorable series of local and main-campus events.
Celebrating Buckeye Spirit: The Ohio State Mansfield Homecoming Court
From campus karaoke and competitive dodgeball to a community tailgate and riding in the legendary Homecoming Parade in Columbus, the 2026 Ohio State Mansfield Homecoming Court represented Buckeye spirit every step of the way.
The week of celebrations began with an engaging karaoke and game night, providing a welcoming space for students to connect, relax, and showcase their talents. This evening was followed by an energetic campus dodgeball tournament that brought out friendly competition, enthusiastic student cheering, and strong school spirit.
Next, the court extended the festivities into the wider local community. Partnering with the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, the court hosted a festive tailgate lunch featuring music, interactive games, and wonderful local Buckeye camaraderie.
This meaningful gathering brought together students, alumni and local senior citizens to share stories, enjoy a meal together, and celebrate their shared pride in Ohio State.
The week’s celebrations culminated as all six court members traveled south to Columbus to participate in Ohio State’s historic Homecoming Parade. Riding along the route surrounded by thousands of enthusiastic supporters, energetic spirit squads, and university leaders, the court proudly represented the Mansfield student body on a grand stage. Participating in cherished tradition highlighted the strong connection shared across all campuses and the broader Buckeye community.
Selection to the Homecoming Court recognizes students who demonstrate dedicated service, academic excellence, and a deep commitment to the university community. Alyssa, Clara, Sarah, Kendal, Jazmine, and Yahira embodied these exemplary values throughout the entire week, from campus game nights and community tailgates to the magnificent parade float in Columbus.
