Business Management: Fisher College of Business

What is Business Management?Business Department Pages
The business program prepares students for careers in business and for graduate study or professional degrees such as law. Professional managers face a variety of challenges: consumer demand for value, the need for more efficient planning and greater productivity, increasing international competition, and rapidly changing technology. These challenges will require that managers have more knowledge, training, and skills than ever before.

The program at Ohio State Mansfield combines distance-learning technologies with traditional classroom instruction. Web-based tools such as video-on-demand, online slide presentations and live discussions enable students to make the most of classroom time. The program is tailored to meet the needs of traditional and non-traditional students working in or planning to work in Ohio companies.
