If you have not already activated your username, email and BuckeyePass, please do so as soon as possible and check your email regularly.
  • Accept Admission and Pay Acceptance Fee
When you are ready to accept admission, go to the Ohio State Applicant Center and log into your account with your Ohio State username and password. In the Admissions section, click on the "Accept/Decline" link. You will then accept the offer of admission and pay the acceptance fee online. By paying this $100 NONREFUNDABLE fee, you confirm your intention to enroll at Ohio State Mansfield. The priority deadline for accepting admission and paying the acceptance fee is as follows:

    Autumn Admit: May 1
Spring Admit: See Acceptance Fee Statement

If you have missed your acceptance fee deadline but are interested in attending, please contact the Mansfield Office of Admissions at (419) 755-4300 or mansfield-askabuckeye@osu.edu to discuss next steps.
  • Complete or Update the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
To apply for financial aid, students must complete the FAFSA, a federal form that determines need-based aid. Spring and summer admits will need to complete the FAFSA for the current academic year, as well as the upcoming academic year. Contact the Ohio State Mansfield Financial Aid Office with questions.
  • Submit Housing Application
If you requested to live on campus when completing your admission application, an email will be sent to your Ohio State email account from the Housing Office. This email will provide a web link to the online housing application. Your completed application and corresponding application fee must be received by the Housing Office for your application to be processed.
  • Submit Official Test Scores and Transcripts
Placement testing requirements are determined by ACT/SAT/AP scores, and any college-level coursework already completed. Be certain you have requested your official scores and/or transcripts to be sent to Ohio State to ensure proper Placement Testing assignments and avoid taking unnecessary exams. Scores and courses listed on a high school transcript are NOT acceptable.

All transcripts are to be sent to esue-studugt@osu.edu. Transcripts delivered to the Mansfield campus in-person or electronically by counselor or student, can not be considered official. If a transcript can’t be electronically sent, transcripts may be mailed to:

Students sign in to BuckeyeLink with their Ohio State username and password. A student’s To Do List within BuckeyeLink indicates the actions that a student needs to take to be able to attend Ohio State.

Admitted students will see a "COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement" task in their To Do List. Ohio State requires every student, faculty and staff member to be vaccinated against COVID-19 with an FDA-approved vaccine. Students can request an exemption for medical, personal or religious reasons by completing the student exemption request form. Information on how to submit a vaccination record or an exemption can be found on our Safe and Healthy Buckeyes webpage.
