The Ohio State University at Mansfield

Student Research Frenzy 2017

One of the most stimulating experiences Ohio State Mansfield students can have is engaging in Undergraduate Research. From their first semester to graduation, student researchers design poster presentations, conduct Symposia, write theses, participate in Independent Studies, assist faculty in their research, and more.

This year, we are widening the range of both students and methods of presentation. We hope to include first- and second-year student researcher for the first time, as well as several presentation modes, including Powerpoint slides, poster presentations, Prezis, and perhaps others. The research does not have to be complete; it can be ongoing or even in the planning stage.

The format is very, very informal. Participating students will present a very short (five-minute limit) summary of the research in which they are involved and will *not* have to take questions from the audience. Enthusiastic applause, however, is welcome.

Please join us for an hour of learning, laughing (it’s fun!), and filling snacks on Wednesday, November 16, 12:30-1:35 pm, in Riedl 229.

Questions? Please contact Assistant Dean Susan Delagrange by email, phone (419.755.4235), or in person (Riedl 206 or Ovalwood 231).
