TAG - Comedian Jourdain Fisher

Jourdain Fisher is a New York based comedian that was born and raised in North Carolina. With his fun material and open personality, audiences are drawn to his style and sense of humor. He started doing stand up comedy at the age of 17 to avoid working for his family's funeral home. Since then, Jourdain has found success in clubs and colleges across the country. He has been a part of various festivals including, The New York Comedy Festival, Laughing Skull Festival, and Laugh Your Asheville Off. Jourdain was a back-to-back winner of The Ultimate Comic Challenge, a finalist in The Carolina's Funniest Competition and a Regional Showcase Finalist for Stand Up NBC in New York. He is currently a writer and actor on BET's sketch comedy show, 50 Central. Free lunch for all in attendance!

Know the Facts: Human Trafficking

The first "Know Your Power" series event of the new year will discuss the realities of modern day human trafficking. We will learn ways bystanders can look for signs of human trafficking, as well as ways to help victims. Both scheduled times are open to all campus students.

This one-act play written by American playwright Edward Albee explores themes of isolation, loneliness, miscommunication as anathematization, social disparity and dehumanization in a materialistic world.​ Tickets are are $3 general admission and $2 for senior citizens and students, and will be available at the door.The production is produced by Arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc.
