The Ohio State University at Mansfield

Theatre Production - "Our Town"

Sunday, October 8 at 2:30 pm, Founders Auditorium in Ovalwood Hall

Described by Edward Albee as "...the greatest American play ever written," the story follows the small town of Grover's Corners through three acts: "Daily Life," "Love and Marriage," and "Death and Eternity." Narrated by a stage manager and performed with minimal props and sets, audiences follow the Webb and Gibbs families as their children fall in love, marry, and eventually - in one of the most famous scenes in American theatre - die. "No play ever moved me so deeply," -- Alexander Woolcott, The New Yorker. Senior citizens, students, and Ohio State Mansfield and NC State faculty and staff, and accompanying family members pay only $5 per ticket. General admission tickets are $7. Ask about our Flexpass tickets - 3 tickets for only $14.00! To order tickets, please call 419-755-4045.
