Joseph Fahey has trained at the American Conservatory Theatre and interned as a movement coach at the American Repertory Theatre. He has taught graduate and undergraduate courses at The Ohio State University (Columbus), Ohio Dominican College, Denison University, Ohio University, and Case Western Reserve University. He currently serves as Director of the Theatre Program at The Ohio State University Mansfield. He has taught courses in Stage Movement, Acting, Directing, Multicultural Theatre, Theatre History, Script Analysis, and The History of American Actor Training. His recent directing credits include The Good Doctor, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Guys and Dolls, Twelfth Night, and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. He has developed collaborations with The Cleveland Public Schools, The Cleveland Playhouse, The Mansfield Art Center, The Mansfield Playhouse, the Richland Academy, and The Renaissance Theatre. He works actively with the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and the Association for Theatre in Higher Education. His work has been published in The Mime Journal, The Journal of Dramatic Theory and Criticism, The Eugene O'Neill Review, and The Pinter Review.
