Auditions for our shows are open to all students and community members. Auditions for non-musical performances usually consist of readings from the script. Prepared monologues are welcome but not required. Auditions for musicals usually consist of readings from the script, singing of 16 bars of music from a Broadway-style song, and –depending on the show and the role – a short dance combination taught and then repeated the night of the audition. For the singing portion of the audition, actors should supply sheet music, and we will provide the accompanist. A capella singing is discouraged.
If you are interested in auditioning or backstage opportunities, and you have questions, please contact Dr. Joseph Fahey firstname.lastname@example.org or 419 755-4276 for more information. You can also click on the “Current Season” tab to see the audition times and dates for this season’s shows.
