For students who intend to apply for financial aid, the College suggests that you make application for multiple aid programs. The fellowships and scholarships listed on the College website are available only to students who attend the social work programs on the Columbus Campus. However, financial aid is also made available through hundreds of private foundations, business organizations, etc. There are several periodicals available in the University and public libraries which list other resources including the Annual Register of Grant Support, The Grants Register, and the Directory of Financial Aid for Women.
Ohio State Mansfield MSW Scholarship
The Ohio State University at Mansfield is pleased to announce available scholarships for OSU-M students enrolled part-time in the Master of Social Work Program! These scholarships are awarded yearly to students selected by a committee of OSU-M faculty, staff and social work professionals in the community. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, GPA and dedication to the social work profession.
Application deadline for the scholarship is July 1st of each year and should be submitted to the Social Work Program Office at OSU-M. A scholarship is renewable for up to three years based on reapplication and acceptance, availability of funds and volume of applications. There are 6 scholarships per year, awarding $500 per recipient, per semester for the autumn, spring and summer semesters.
