The Bromfield Library and Information Commons, serving the faculty, staff, and students of The Ohio State University at Mansfield and North Central State College, occupies the ground floor of Bromfield Hall. The Library provides traditional library services, as well as various audio-visual, non-book services. The reference librarians will help faculty develop research strategies, locate sources, interpret citations, and assist in the development of on-line searching techniques for computer-based indexes. Staff can also assist faculty in obtaining materials not available in our collection. Materials that are requested can be sent to the faculty member’s office. The circulation staff will assist faculty in checking out materials from our collection and help faculty place materials on reserve (books/videos) in the library for controlled use by students. Books circulate to faculty and staff for 17 weeks, provided no one else requests use of the materials. Books circulate to students for six weeks. Audio-visual materials, including videos, DVDs, audio books, and CD-ROMs, circulate to faculty, staff, and students for one week. All periodicals and newspapers are non-circulating.
