Course Objectives: Students will become proficient in reading, analyzing, and composing academic texts in readiness for First Year Writing.
Course Content: Reading articles on the politics of fast food; writing short responses; researching and writing about a topic related to the course theme.
Method of Presentation: Lecture, discussion, with class time for research and composing.
Method of Evaluation: A - E grades assigned to all long assignments, with credit given for daily work. Attendance is a factor in all composition courses.
