Course Objectives: To familiarize art students with both conventional and experimental forms of visual expression through examination, description and analysis.
Course Content: Students read and summarize critical writings, present topics and review works of art.
Method of Presentation: Lecture, discussion
Method of Evaluation: Summaries, presentations and critical essays are evaluated for grammar,clarity and comprehensiveness. The student should demonstrate ability to generate critical discussion of contemporary works of art.
