The annual Honors Convocation celebrating student achievement will be held Thursday, May 15, at 5:15pm in the John and Pearl Conard Performance Hall in Riedl Hall.

Honorary awards will be given to students in a variety of academic disciplines. Outstanding teaching awards will be presented to two faculty members.

Family members and the general public are invited to attend the program.

The Comedy of Lynn Trefzger

Lynn Trefzger is a ventriloquist/comedienne with a trunk full of zany characters that have accompanied her on stages across the country. Named the "2006 Funniest Female of the Year" by Campus Activities Magazine, her off-the-wall interplay with the audience is riotously funny.

Having first been "discovered" on TV's popular "Star Search," she has since performed with artists including Jeff Foxworthy, Ray Romano, The Smothers Brothers, and Drew Carey. Her performances are tailored for both family and adult audiences.

The Courier Post (Atlantic City) says ... "Trefzger is an excellent technician and a bright, inventive comedian ... a first rate entertainer!"
